Samantha has been in gymnastics just about a year now and in June she was moved over to the competitive side. Well, she finally experienced what that means on Saturday, Nov. 19, with her first meet! We were a little worried going into the day, we were not sure if she would remember all the routines or if she would freeze in front of a big group. Well we had nothing to worry about, she was a natural out on the floor and she loved it. She finished 6th overall, by just .35 of a point from 3rd, and took second on the bars and floor.
When I asked her what her favorite part of the meet was she said, "Everything!" Might have helped that she got to have ice cream and french fries for dinner :)
