5th Birthday Celebration

So this year we decided not to have a birthday party for Samantha, great in theory you will see how I failed. We thought it would be fun to do something extra special for her big birthday, so we went to the Great Wolf Lodge here in KC with one of our best friends. We had such a fun night and even survived our first sleep over. Here is where I failed! Her birthday happened to be Super Bowl Sunday, well I struggled with how to not let her birthday get lost to a watch party so we hosted one with just a few of our closest friends. So it was not a blow-out, but she did get cake (that I made) and presents. All and all a birthday fit for a 5 year old!
