This weekend Zona Rosa, one of our outdoor shopping areas, turned on their Christmas lights! I love lights and Sam does too, so we met up with our friends to see the lights turned on and visit the fairy princess. This is a really cool thing they do. Zona has brought back all of the Kansas City traditions from the 1950's. So they have these giant crowns hung over the streets (no pics, I will get some tonight) and a fairy princess comes to visit the children for the rest of Nov. before santa comes. They even have an igloo this year that used to be displayed every year - so much FUN! Maddie and Sam had a great time and we got some really fun pictures.
