Sugar and Spice: Thanksgiving and More!

I think we are still recovering from our super fun Thanksgiving weekend. We are fortunate enough that we are both off Wed.-Friday that week so we played hard and rested hard! On Tuesday night Marc went to the CBE classic to watch the K-State men's team play at Sprint Center with our friend Sean, so that meant girl party for us! Kim brought the kids over and we made pizzas, cookies, watched movies and played. The hope had been for a slumber party but Cam started to not feel well so they went home once the boys got back from the game.
On Wed., we did Thanksgiving with Marc's parents, uncle, grandad, and sibilings. This worked out great because Mary Kate, my sister-in-law, had to work on Thursday at the hospital. We had a great dinner with lots of laughs and fun! We had so much that we repeated it at our house on Thursday with Marc's parents, grandad and uncle! It was really wonderful, but I will not cry if I never see turkey again! The rest of the weekend we took it easy. Our friends Jeff & Susie came up with Maddie on Sat night and we ordered take-out and played with their new kinnect, kind of fun! The girls love being together so it was great!

On our second night Princess Belle joined us for dinner instead of Samantha. I let her have sparkling grape juice in a wine glass (my mom used to do this with us) she LOVED it!
