Sugar and Spice: Where or where did October Go?

I am not sure how I lost an entire month, but I did! Really we have had an amazing fall and a lot of adventures to keep us busy. Mackenzie turned 3 months old and is really starting to show her personality. She is such a laid back baby and very little seems to phase her, she is starting to react and smile at everything and we occasionally get a good giggle.
Samantha seems to be going from baby girl to true kid faster and faster each day. She now helps make her own breakfast many mornings (toast with way too much better and cinnamon), gets herself dressed and is on the verge of reading her first words. It is amazing to look at the difference between Mackenzie and Samantha and realize in 4 short years we will have independentish kids running around.
So really, where did October go? Well beyond the speedway race in my last blog we have had a lot of other fun going on (would you expect anything less?) My mom and brother came to visit, look at colleges and celebrate my dad in life and memory, we had all sorts of great Halloween activities and we just enjoyed being crazy going us! Here are just a few (well you know) pictures that capture the month for us...
